What exactly is consignment?
You may have come across it before: consignment sales . But what exactly is it, and why does it work so well?
At Debberies, it's all about giving clothes a second life. Through consignment, you can have your clothes sold without having to put in any time or effort yourself. You drop them off, and I'll take care of the rest.
What is consignment?
Consignment means that you bring in your clothes, but you only get paid for them after they have been sold.
Therefore, you remain the owner of the clothing until it is actually sold.
The following applies to Debberies:
- You bring in the clothes
- I photograph, price, place, and promote it.
Once something is sold, you will receive 40% of the selling price.
Honest, simple and hassle-free.
Why does consignment work so well?
Consignment is ideal for those who:
- has clothes from nice brands, but doesn't have the time/energy to sell everything herself
- prefers to reuse clothes rather than throw them away
- is looking for a sustainable and stylish solution for a full wardrobe
You don't have to take photos, answer messages, or deal with shipping. I'll take the entire sales process off your hands.
What's the benefit?
- Space in your closet
- Extra money (or shopping credit)
- A good feeling: you are contributing to sustainable fashion
You will receive a monthly overview of what has been sold, and you can choose to have it paid out to your account or as shop credit at Debberies.
